Mother’s Day Keepsake

This is truly a one-of-a-kind class with Alyssa from Alyssa Makes Something. Each student will bring a hand-drawn picture or note from their child to the class and Alyssa will walk you through the steps to transfer & wood burn the drawing or note onto a wooden keepsake box. This is such a heartfelt gift to give for Mother’s Day. Warning: this may have Mom reaching for the tissues when they see their children’s handwriting on a beautiful box they get to keep for a lifetime. This is also a great gift to give to Grandma from the grandkids or to make for yourself! Whoever the box is for, we just can’t wait to celebrate all the wonderful Moms in our lives!

Class Duration: 2 hours

Class Instructor

Alyssa Campbell

Alyssa is originally from South Carolina but she’s lived in Central Florida for about ten years now and she loves to explore and check out new places. Alyssa went to culinary school for baking and pastry and then became a full-time Mom. In 2014, she started a daily creative challenge as a way to find her new identity and grow, and now she’s tried just about every craft and art form on the planet. Her specialties are wood-burning and hand-lettering (and making ice cream!). Some of her favorite things are cheese fries, ampersands, organizing things in rainbow order and craft beer. Come learn all things wood burning and charcuterie making from her, we know you’ll adore her just as much as we do!
